Zines.co.uk Marketplace
Overview
- Zines.co.uk is a UK-based online marketplace for independent artists and publishers to list and sell their own zines directly to customers.
By registering as a vendor, you agree to these terms.
Vendor Eligibility: You must:
- Be the creator, publisher, or authorised seller of the zines you list
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and up-to-date account information
You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your listings and account details.
Product Listings: You agree to:
- List only zines that you have the legal right to sell
- Provide clear descriptions, images, and pricing
- Ensure all content complies with UK law
Zines.co.uk reserves the right to remove listings that are misleading, inappropriate, or infringe on rights.
Pricing and Payments
- You set your own retail prices
- All prices must be listed in GBP (£)
- You are responsible for any applicable taxes
Zines.co.uk does not set or control your pricing.
Commission Structure
- A commission of 10% is charged on each sale
- Commission is deducted before payout
Payment schedule:
- Sales made in a given month are paid after delivery and at the end of the following calendar month
- Example: Sales and deliveried in June are paid on 31st July
Payments will be made using the method specified in your vendor account.
Order Fulfilment: You are responsible for:
- Packaging and shipping your zines
- Meeting reasonable dispatch times
- Providing accurate shipping costs and delivery estimates
You must communicate clearly with customers regarding any delays.
Returns and Refunds: You must provide a clear returns policy. This should include:
- Conditions for returns
- Timeframes
- Refund or exchange process
You are responsible for handling customer service, returns, and refunds.
- Intellectual Property: You retain full ownership of your work.
By listing on Zines.co.uk, you grant a non-exclusive licence to:
- Display your zines on the platform
- Use your images and descriptions for marketing and promotion
Prohibited Content: You must not list:
- Content that infringes copyright or trademarks
- Illegal or offensive material under UK law
- Misleading or false representations
Zines.co.uk may remove content or suspend accounts at its discretion.
Account Suspension or Termination: Zines.co.uk reserves the right to:
- Suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms
- Remove listings without notice
You may close your account at any time.
- Liability: Zines.co.uk acts only as a marketplace.
We are not responsible for:
- The quality, safety, or legality of products
- Delivery issues or disputes between vendors and customers
Vendors are solely responsible for their transactions.
- Changes to Terms: These terms may be updated from time to time.
You will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.
- Governing Law, These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
