Description
This zine is from my exhibition at the Barbican Library in London. The zine features a series of moody, almost abstract, pinhole photographs capturing the brutality of the modern structures of the Barbican estate, the crumbling windmills of the Norfolk broads, and historically significant castles. Inspired by the atmospheric film ‘A Field in England’ by Ben Wheatley, and the distinctive look and feel of the computer games ‘Inside’ and ‘Limbo,’ crafted by the indie developer Playdead. From the distorted architecture to wind softened skies, they are a fresh perspective on these monumental subjects.
